Over the past twenty years working in Asia as a food and wine writer, I felt there was an opportunity to develop a community where like-minded food and wine lovers could express their opinions and explore the world of Asian cuisine and wine. Asian Palate is a journey towards understanding and defining something we know, love and appreciate daily - the simple pleasures of a good meal. When I realised how the Asian table was increasingly making room for wine, I felt there was an opportunity to encourage dialogue cross-culturally. This fascinating exchange and communication that goes beyond borders, respects tradition yet incorporates modernity, is the Asian Palate!
